The Sora plant has achieved the ISO 45001 certification
UNI ISO 45001 constitutes the ISO international norm for occupational health and safety management systems.
To improve the safety and preserve the health of employees and external personnel, the Sora plant obtained the ISO 45001:2018 certification on 31 December 2022, thus becoming the second Burgo plant in Italy to have received it: the first was Villorba, in 2021.
The implementation of the new SGSSL with the related certification process for the plant has been entirely managed by Burgo Group, specifically by the plant Work Team, with the support and collaboration of the headquarters HSE staff. There has not been the involvement of resources outside the Group: this is a further reason to take pride in the event, being a testimony to the high level of competence and professionalism achieved in Burgo for the best practices in the occupational health and safety management system.
The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) organisation in the sites of the Burgo Group stands on management systems created through the application of international reference standards and on sharing a culture of safety at every company level, with the main goal of preventing occupational accidents and diseases.
Steady improvement of performance, staff training, sharing a culture of safety and environmental protection: anyone who identifies as a leader in their field must also be a point of reference in HSE management.
