Paper and art

Cartaceo#02 at BookCity Milan

For the second year Burgo took part in BookCity Milan with the Cartaceo project, born out of the desire to celebrate paper as the meeting place between word and image

Cartaceo#02

The collaboration between writer Alessandro Bergonzoni and Manuele Fior, one of the most important and well-known Italian designers, gave rise to a limited print leporello that was given to those taking part at the meeting held on 17 November 2019 in the Salone d'Onore at the Milan Triennial.

The project was carried out with the Illustri e ArtsFor Association and testifies to the Group's desire, for over twenty years, to establish collaborations with Italian and international artists (such as for Burgo's historic illustrated calendar), confirming the perfect link between paper, art, words, culture and beauty. It is this cry from within that gives rise to a real anthem dedicated to the blank sheet of paper. A privileged gateway to our inner soul, made up of dreams and fears. A tool for sharing emotions and visions with the world.
