Focus on decarbonisation and recycling at the 2023 Paper Industry Congress

Burgo Group joins the 54th Congress of the Italian paper industry by Aticelca, the meeting devoted to the most significant and innovative contributions in technology, energy, and the environment in the paper sector.

The Aticelca Congress of the Italian paper industry on 25 and 26 May 2023 anticipates a busy agenda, with presentations by national and international speakers, debates, and visits to local plants.

The congress will open with a greeting from the President of Aticelca: Furio Azzopardo, Technical Management for Technology & Investments of the Burgo Group, who will introduce the sessions of the two days event.
 

The full agenda of the conference, which this year will deal with the topics of decarbonisation, recycling, and automation, includes a round table about "The route of paper companies towards decarbonisation", with the participation of Luca Sassoli, CEO of Burgo Energia.

The Aticelca Congress of the Italian paper industry takes place every year in a different Italian city, favouring sites that are significant in the paper industry: an unmissable event for the main players in the sector, the 54th edition will be held on the 25 and 26 May in Isola del Liri, in the Boncompagni Viscogliosi Castle.

Aticelca – Italian cellulose and paper technical association

Founded in 1967, Aticelca aims to offer its associates technical and scientific knowledge to improve papermaking and raw material production methods for the paper industry. Aticelca is the technical branch of Assocarta, of which Burgo Group is also a member, and actively cooperates with other Italian and international technical organizations.
