UNI EN 15593:2008
The UNI EN 15593:2008 standard specifies the requirements for a hygiene management system for producers and suppliers of packaging for foodstuffs, including conservation and transport. The standard, entitled "Packaging – Management of hygiene in the production of packaging for foodstuffs – Requirements" means that manufacturers of packaging for foodstuffs can give concrete evidence of their ability to properly manage and control hygiene risks associated with their products. This covers all aspects of hygiene management during production of packaging and specifies requirements for a Huggins management system for manufacturers and suppliers of packaging for foodstuffs, including conservation (warehousing) and transport.
